The coconut sugar adds a hint of nut or caramel which can only be discerned in this simple yet rich chocolate bar. (Coconut sugar is derived from the sap of the coconut tree, and not from the fruit as many think. This is what lends it its distinctive flavor notes). This chocolate has a low glycemic index which makes it diabetic friendly.
